Kill Tony is a live comedy podcast and stand-up show created by Tony Hinchcliffe. Aspiring comedians enter a random draw, perform one minute, and then stay onstage for an interview with Tony, Brian Redban and the guest panel.

The format mixes new performers, returning comedians, regulars, invited guests and a live band. Every archived appearance that has a verified timestamp links back to the original episode on YouTube. Watch the official channel.

The bucket is the show’s random selection system. Eligible comedians sign up in person before the show, put their names into the draw, and must remain available in case Tony pulls their name.

A bucket pull is not a scheduled guest spot or regular set. It is a chance selection, which is why a first-time performer can appear beside an established comic. Browse the comedian archive to find every set.

A golden ticket is an onstage award for a standout bucket pull. It gives that comedian an invitation to return for future appearances without relying on another random draw.

The award is distinct from becoming a weekly regular. Kill Tony HQ records golden-ticket appearances only where that role is present in the source data; totals remain withheld while the historical labels are being audited.

The Austin house band features Jon Deas on keyboards, D Madness on bass, Michael Gonzales on drums and Matt Muehling on guitar. Additional musicians, including members of the Grooveline Horns, may join them.

The band punctuates the show and accompanies stage entrances and recurring bits. It is separate from the guest panel and performer lineup tracked on episode pages. Band source.

The Comedy Mothership is Joe Rogan’s comedy club in downtown Austin, Texas, and the current home of the show’s regular recordings. Kill Tony performs in the club’s Fat Man room.

Earlier eras of the show were recorded in Los Angeles, including at The Comedy Store, and later at Austin venues before the Mothership opened. Venue and ticket details should always be checked with the Comedy Mothership.

The current Austin process is in person. The venue’s event instructions say performers need photo identification and 60 seconds of prepared material; signup has been held at Shakespeare’s next to the Comedy Mothership, with performers required to remain nearby throughout the show.

Times and locations can change, especially for touring shows. Check the instructions attached to the specific official venue listing before traveling.

A selected comedian gets 60 seconds to perform stand-up before the interview begins. A sound cue marks the end of the minute, though what follows can last much longer than the set itself.

The minute is the core rule for bucket pulls. Direct links on each episode page point to the recorded start of a set where a verified timestamp exists.

Tony Hinchcliffe created and hosts Kill Tony. Brian Redban co-hosts and produces the show, including its soundboard cues and recurring production elements.

A changing panel of comedians, actors, musicians and other public figures joins them at the table. The guest archive groups those episode appearances by person.

Full video episodes are released through the official Kill Tony YouTube channel. Audio editions are also distributed through major podcast platforms.

Kill Tony HQ does not rehost full episodes. The archive sends viewers to the original video, while the clips feed indexes verified short moments from approved channels.

A regular is a comedian invited to perform repeatedly on the show rather than waiting for a random bucket pull each time. The role can mark an ongoing chapter of a comedian’s history, so one person may have earlier bucket-pull appearances and later regular sets.

Comedian pages preserve the role recorded for each individual appearance. The comedian directory can be filtered to explore regulars and other career paths.

A timestamp is shown only when the archive has a start time for that set. Clicking it opens the source video at that exact second; records without a reliable time link to the episode without inventing one.

Names and roles can still be wrong, especially where captions are unclear. Use the contact form, choose Site correction, and include the episode number, comedian name and supporting detail for review.
